It also stated that people who completed “story-based, one-time achievements” in a Nintendo Switch version’s save, then transfer it to a PC will have those achievements unlocked. However, Supergiant did note on Twitter that someone should have save files in different slots to make sure files you might want to save aren’t overwritten. Once you do all that, you can download or upload save files. All someone needs to do is download the update, then connect the account for the storefront where they own Hades on their PC. Now it’s here, and implementing it isn’t too difficult. Supergiant confirmed it was working on the feature, but that it wouldn’t be ready at launch. Basically if you want to bring your progress from the PC to the switch, make sure the files are in different slots so they dont overwrite each other. Hades cross-save support was announced all the way back in August 2020. Ensuring your saves are in different slots is more for people who played Hades on PC while it was in beta, and then bought the game on the switch too. It works with both copies purchased from Epic Games Store or Steam. Once someone grabs it, they’ll be able to import save data from a PC version of the game and use it on the Switch and vice versa. These come with quite a few bonuses, like art books and foil covers, so expect them to set you back a little more than the digital version is going to. Hades is going to be available on the PS Store for both PS4 and PS5 on August 13th and physical editions from Private Division will be available at launch.
